Update
This is Calypso (Pauline when I had her) in her new home. She was adopted about 2 years ago now. When her new family adopted her, I wasn't sure it was going to work out with dogs and kids, but I took the chance and she was a perfect fit in her new home! Here she is, still being silly. She crammed herself into a play-garage and is attacking it! I've even gotten to visit her in her new home and she seems so happy. Hard to believe that she started off life by being dumped off in a friend's barn. Her owners were moving and wanted to put their kittens in the barn until they got settled, but they never came back for them. Well, when they were about 8 months old, they got pregnant and each had a litter. I got Pauline and the other kitty went to hide somewhere to have her litter. Heartland ended up with those kittens too and we got mom spayed and she kept living in the barn. Luckily for Calypso, she gets to just look at the snow from a nice warm house instead of having to survive in the cold. The best part is that neither kitty will have to worry about having babies ever again! I just love happy endings!
